Felony arrests

Burglary — Donald Blake Byers, 24, no known address. Medford police Thursday arrested Byers on charges of first-degree burglary, fourth-degree felony assault, harassment, menacing, contempt of court, coercion and strangulation. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $250,000 bail. 

Drugs — James Harley David, 1200 block of Carmel Creek, Medford. Medford police Friday arrested David on charges of possession of methamphetamine, felon in possession of a weapon and a parole violation for first-degree theft. He was lodged in jail on $35,000 bail. 

Burglary — Ralph Richard Bare, 46, no known address. Bare Friday made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a charge of second-degree burglary. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance. 

Sex offender — Justin Howard Hendrickson, 21, of the 2200 block of Temple Drive, Medford. Hendrickson Friday made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a charge of failure to appear as a sex offender. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance. 

Drugs — Danielle Cassidy Stanford, 36, of the 2700 block of Ruth Drive, Medford. Stanford Friday made her initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on charges of possession of methamphetamine and a probation violation for hindering prosecution. She was booked into jail and released on her own recognizance.

Theft — Tasha Marie Looper, 31, no known address. Medford police Friday arrested Looper on charges of first-degree theft, third-degree theft and possession of methamphetamine. She was lodged in jail on $43,000 bail. 

Drugs — Amarylla Kate Burrell, 37, no known address. Eagle Point police Friday arrested Burrell on charges of possession of methamphetamine and third-degree theft. She was lodged in jail on $28,000 bail. 

Crime reports

Theft — 200 block of Black Oak Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report at 8 a.m. Friday of a theft from a motor vehicle during which four pairs of sunglasses, a wallet and purse were taken. The loss was valued at $1,600. 

Theft — 100 block of South Riverside Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report at noon Friday of a theft of two diamond rings. The loss was valued at $6,500.
