Seto's hat track propels Spartans

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. — Chris Seto had a hat trick to lead the Southern Oregon Spartans to a 6-2 Western States Hockey League victory over the Lake Tahoe Icemen Friday.

The victory moved the Spartans, who are in second place in the Northwest Division, to 13-4. They are 2½ games behind the Idaho Junior Steelheads.

Seto scored a goal in each period to lead the charge. William Brunnberg added two goals and Cameron Cross scored the other for the Spartans, who got two assists apiece from Terrence Cheeseboro and Jacob Elk, and one each from Cy Jenson, Paiute Morrison and Cameron Seto.

The Spartans led 3-2 to start the third period before pulling away.
