Felony arrests

Drugs — Kyle Lee Wiseman, 31, no known address. Medford police arrested Wiseman Wednesday on a felony charge of possessing heroin, a warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous charge of second-degree theft and on a sanction for violating his probation on a previous charge of possessing methamphetamine. He remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Thursday without bail.

Burglary — Levi Ryder Buday, 20, no known address. Medford police arrested Buday Wednesday on felony charges of second-degree burglary and first-degree criminal mischief, misdemeanor charges of second-degree theft, second-degree criminal mischief and harassment, and on a warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous first-degree criminal mischief charge. He remained lodged in jail Thursday without bail.

Drugs — Hannah Michelle Hanson, 19, of the 300 block of Meadow Lane, Eagle Point. Eagle Point police arrested Hanson Wednesday on a felony warrant charging her with possessing methamphetamine, a misdemeanor charge of second-degree theft and on a warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous meth-possession charge. She was booked in the jail Wednesday and released Thursday because of overcrowding.

Drugs — Alex Roy Martinez, 42, no known address. Medford police arrested Martinez Thursday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine and on a sanction for violating his probation on a previous meth-possession charge. He was lodged in jail Thursday without bail.

Drugs — James Steven Bennett, 29, no known address. Medford police arrested Bennett Thursday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine. He was booked in the jail and released Thursday on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Brandy Nicole Bentley, 31, no known address. Medford police arrested Bentley Thursday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine. She was booked in the jail and released Thursday because of overcrowding.

Identity Theft — Mersadie Lyn Goettsch, 24, of the 500 block of Barton Road, Eagle Point. On Thursday, Goettsch made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on felony charges of identity theft and first-degree theft. He was booked in the jail and released Thursday on his own recognizance.

Hit-and-run — Michael Raven Ochoa, 55, of the 200 block of Gibson Street, Talent. On Thursday, Ochoa made his initial court appearance on a felony charge of failing to perform the duties of a driver to an injured person and on misdemeanor charges of hit-and-run property damage, fourth-degree assault and second-degree criminal mischief. He was booked in the jail and released Thursday on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Tyler Allen Zavada, no known address. Medford police arrested Zavada Thursday on a felony charge of possessing heroin, and on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of attempted first-degree theft, third-degree theft, fourth-degree assault, harassment and disorderly conduct. He was lodged in jail Thursday on $20,000 bail.

Burglary — Alex James Gumaer, 32, no known address. Medford police arrested Gumaer Thursday on a felony charge of first-degree burglary, misdemeanor charges of violating a no-contact order and third-degree criminal mischief and on a sanction for violating his probation on a previous fourth-degree assault charge. He was lodged in jail Thursday without bail.

Criminal Mischief — Juan Gomez, 47, of the first block of Osprey Drive, Eagle Point. Medford police arrested Gomez Thursday on a felony charge of first-degree criminal mischief and a misdemeanor charge of violating a restraining order. He was lodged in jail Thursday on $15,000 bail.

Drugs — Jonathan James Hetrick, 30, no known address. Medford police arrested Hetrick Thursday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine and on a sanction from a previous meth-possession charge. He was lodged in jail Thursday without bail.

Burglary — Keith Odell Brewer, 51, of the 400 block of North Holly Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Brewer Thursday on a felony charge of first-degree burglary and on misdemeanor charges of third-degree theft and second-degree criminal mischief. He was lodged in jail Thursday on $27,500 bail.

Crime reports

Theft — 3600 block of Creek View Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 7:14 a.m. Thursday. Items reported stolen included to Stihl chainsaws, a Sony video camera , sets of protective glasses and electronic chargers. The loss was valued at $1,745.

Burglary — 3200 block of Pecan Court, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary to a residence at 7:31 a.m. Thursday. Items reported stolen included an orange Husqvarna pressure washer, music CDs, a new Kobalt battery-powered lawnmower and a blue and yellow Fila gym bag filled with women's clothes.  The loss was valued at $1,319.
