Rogue Brew Fest

The Little Woody Rogue Valley Barrel-Aged Beer, Cider and Whiskey Festival will celebrate craft wood-aged beers from across the Northwest from 4 to 11 p.m. Friday, May 4, and noon to 11 p.m. Saturday, May 5, at Harry & David Field, 2929 S. Pacific Highway, Medford. Look for samples from 20 local and regional brewers, live music both days, and a costume contest with prizes at 6 p.m. Saturday. St. Lawrence String Quartet

The quartet, along with pianist Stephen Prutsman, will perform at 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 4, and 3 p.m. Saturday, May 5, in the Music Recital Hall, 405 S. Mountain Ave., on the Southern Oregon University campus in Ashland. Love is in the air in this musical with music by Richard Rodgers and book and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein, and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival’s production brims with show-stopping songs and heartfelt storytelling. Its director, Bill Rauch, breaks new ground with same-sex lead couples and other LGBTQ+ casting. It runs through Oct. 27 in OSF’s Angus Bowmer Theatre in Ashland. Spring Block Party

Rogue Farm Corps hosts its fourth annual Spring Block Party from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday, May 6, at Sammich, 424 Bridge St., Ashland. Bathtub Gin Serenaders will perform pre-World War II hot jazz and early blues, and King Roy Wing will perform original folk and Americana. Craterian Music Hall

Craterian Theater’s Legends of the Road Series honors the music of John Lennon at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, May 10-12, at the Craterian Theater, 23 S. Central Ave., Medford. Look for some of Lennon’s most enduring songs, including “Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds,” “Imagine,” “Norwegian Wood,” “Day Tripper” and more performed by The Legends.
