BLM seeks growers
Last year, the Bureau of Land Management offered a few local farmersthe opportunity to grow native grass seed to restore local forests and grasslands.To expand the project this fall, the BLM is seeking growers who can meetthe following criteria:
Ability to commit at least a quarter acre for three years.
Access to irrigation.
Land in Jackson or Josephine county.
Ready to plant in late September.
