Valley of the Rogue Bank announces several promotions and a transfer at its Grants Pass, Rogue River and Merlin offices.
Jerry Cole, vice president and manager of the Rogue River branch, has been promoted to the downtown Grants Pass office.
He was hired as a loan officer 21 years ago at the Rogue River branch.
He is a 1964 graduate of Grants Pass High School and in 1973 earned a degree in business administration from Southern Oregon State College.
He has been involved with the Rogue River Kiwanis Club, Chamber of Commerce and United Way.
Jerry Herbold will take over Cole's position at the Rogue River branch. He joined the company's Merlin branch in 1996. He has spent 17 years in all areas of the banking industry.
He is active in the Grants Pass Chamber of Commerce, the Central Point Little League and is treasurer of the Grants Pass Kiwanis Club.
Jodi MacDonald has been promoted to assistant vice president and manager of the Merlin office.
She has been in banking for 15 years and joined VRB in 1993. Most recently she was a loan officer at the Fruitdale office in Grants Pass.
She is a 1981 graduate of North Valley High School.
She is a member of the Rogue Gateway Rotary and is a board member and loaned executive for United Way. She also is coach of the Grants Pass High School equestrian team.
Linda Deba has accepted a position as loan officer at the Fruitdale office. She joined the company in 1997 as a loan officer at the Seventh and Midland branch.
She comes from Sun City, Ariz. where she worked as a personal banking officer. In her 24 years of banking her experience includes home equity mortgage, consumer and commercial lending, new accounts, personnel and business development.
The Home Builders Association of Jackson County held its annual installation and awards banquet recently at the Rogue Valley Country Club.
