Susan E. Kelley becomes the new vice-president and general manager of KTVL-TV Channel 10 today.

Kelley replaces Kingsley Kelley, no relation, who left the Medford station to join a station in Providence, R.I.

Susan Kelley served as news director at WWMT-TV in Grand Rapids-Kalamazoo, Mich., for the past three years. She was also news director at KOCO-TV in Oklahoma City at the time of the terrorist bombing in that city.

Lithia Motors president and chief executive Sid DeBoer was awarded Southern Oregon University's highest honor -- the president's medal - on Saturday.

DeBoer was honored for his active support of the university and other community programs. He was co-chairman of the university foundation's recently completed campaign to raise money to build a center for the visual arts.

He has served on the foundation board since 1989 and was president from 1993-1995. He also serves on the Oregon Shakespeare Festival Board, the Medford Rotary Foundation Board and the Oregon Community Foundation's Southern Oregon Advisory Board.

Jon-Ross Habina and Kristie Rae have joined the staff of Best Foot Forward, 1204 W. Main St., Medford, as business associates.

Habina, the owner and manager of Brainstorm Multimedia, specializes in Web page design, computer graphics, illustration, advertising and publication, layout and music composition.

Rae, the owner and manager of Transcribing by Kristie, specializes in medical, legal and business transcribing. Her experience includes medical transcribing for the U.S. Marine Corps at Camp Pendleton, Calif.
