Southern Oregon Goodwill Industries has honored for completing Oregon OSHA's Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program.
The Medford-based organization, which employs more than 200 people, was recognized for the achievement earlier this month and became the 29th company in Oregon to complete the program.
The program, called SHARP, is free to businesses and organizations. Companies have state consultants examine their occupational safety programs and facilities and then correct any problems that are found.

Southern Oregon Women's Access to Credit raised $35,565 at its annual auction fund-raiser earlier this month.
The organization specializes in helping emerging entrepreneurs, particularly women and minorities, with business training, mentoring and financing services. It has assisted more than 100 businesses since 1994.
