Advanced Machine Vision Corp.'s profits were markedly lower for the second quarter of 1999 than the previous year, the company reported Wednesday.
Advance Machine of Medford, the parent company of SRC Vision Ventek Inc., reported profits of $210,000 or 2 cents a share, down from net income of $1.016 million or 8 cents a share in the second quarter of 1998. Quarterly sales fell from $9.087 million last year to $7.198 million this year.
Company officials say the rollout of SRC Vision's new processor has taken longer than expected. They noted sales in Russia for the first time and a higher backlog of orders than last year.
