Emma Creative will move to Ashland

Emma Creative, one of the Rogue Valley's larger advertising agencies with 18 employees, is moving most of its business from Medford to Ashland.

The company, now on Chevy Way and founded in Medford nine years ago, will move into the top floor of the building at 139 E. Main St. in Ashland. The 4,000-square-foot space was left vacant by closure of Five Rivers Indian Cuisine Restaurant and the Mystic Lake nightclub.

The entire agency is moving, with the exception of its production services unit, which does audio and video editing. That unit's three employees will move into 225 E. Main St. in Medford, above Norris Shoes.

Jason Ehrlich, the company's president, says the move will boost the firm's Internet division by giving it access to the high-speed Ashland Fiber Network.

Ehrlich expects to complete the move by the end of August.
