THE — VALLEY — — InternetCDS adds new filtering service
Medford-based InternetCDS, the Rogue Valley's largest locally owned Internet service provider, has added new filtering software to its service.
The company has teamed up with N2H2 Inc. to offer Bess Internet filtering, which prevents access to pornography and other sites inappropriate for children. The optional service, which comes at no extra cost to users, updates Web site block lists automatically.
Bess frees parents from the hassles of software installations, administering block list updates and complicated computer configurations, said InternetCDS' Jaye Mathisen. Parents simply sign up for the service and we set up the filtering automatically.
