Lucie K. Scheuer

has joined the staff of Addictions Recovery Center, and two other employees, David Dismuke

and Cooky Coquhoun, have been promoted.

Scheuer is the new development coordinator and will be responsible for promoting the interests of the agency and working on fund-raising projects. She is also a certified addictions counselor specializing in women's issues and will work in that capacity as well. Her background includes community relations, outreach, journalism and fundraising.

Dismuke, who's been with the center for two years, has taken the position of client services coordinator. He has 10 years experience in residential and outpatient treatment programs.

Coquhoun, who's been an on-call counselor with the center for nearly two years, has been promoted to unit coordinator of the residential treatment program. She holds a degree in sociology from Oregon State University.

Roberta Kress

has been hired as director of sales and marketing for Rogue Regency Inn in Medford.

Kress has four years hotel sales experience in the Rogue Valley. She?ll be responsible for sales at the newly expanded 203-room hotel.

Christina Elliott

has joined the staff of Charter Media as an advertising sales administrative assistant.

She has returned to the Rogue Valley after two years in Portland. Elliott previously worked at KCMX-AM, KROG-FM and KCNA-FM. She will be assisting Charter Media with regional marketing efforts.

Three new members have been elected to the Southern Oregon Historical Society's board of trustees and two more were appointed to fill vacancies.

Donna Butchino

has joined the staff of Ashland Family YMCA as its new membership director.

has been named to Unique Homes magazine's registry of distinction, which recognizes luxury home specialists.

Boals was also featured as a megabroker of the Northwest in the magazine's March 2000 issue.
