Tim Alford, president and chief executive of Rogue Federal Credit Union, has been appointed to the National Credit Union Renaissance Commission.

Alford is one of just 27 executives nationwide who will serve on the newly formed commission, which was established by the Credit Union National Association. The commission's focus is to improve the value of federal and state charters for credit unions.

Alford has been president and chief executive of Rogue Federal since 1994 and has worked in credit unions for more than 31 years.

Medford native Lisa Vance

has been named assistant administrator of operations at Providence Portland Medical Center.

Vance has been with Providence Health System for 15 years. She is a 1976 graduate of Medford High School. She received her bachelor's degree at the University of Oregon and a master's in business administration in 1991.
