Farmer

has been named office manager for the Southern Oregon Visitors Association and Cindy Deas will be the association's Crater Lake Centennial coordinator. The coordinator position is funded through a grant from the U.S. Forest Service.

Farmer will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations of the association, including its various marketing programs. Deas will assist Crater Lake gateway communities in launching events and marketing programs related to the 100th anniversary of Crater Lake next summer.

Harris

was named the 2001 recipient of Oregon Cable Telecommunications Association's William B. Smullin Presidential Award.

Harris is controller for California Oregon Broadcasting Inc. - parent company for Medford's KOBI-TV, and oversees operations of Crestview Cable, serving central and northeastern Oregon. Harris has been in the cable industry for 22 years, served as the OCTA's president 1993-94, and is a present board member.

Smullin was a cable television pioneer, operating systems in Southern Oregon from 1955 to 1982.

Bermea

of Southern Oregon Subaru won the Subaru Impreza WRX National Autocross Championship and $2,000, following timed runs at Las Vegas International Raceway.

He was one of 2,900 sales consultants who took part in the challenge and one of 28 finalists.

has been named vice president and manager for the LibertyBank's downtown Grants Pass office.

He most recently served as vice president and manager of the bank's Eugene office.
