The missing section of Juanipero Way in southeast Medford was completed some time ago but has not yet been opened to traffic. What is the problem and when is it expected to be solved?

It's the stripes, Robert.

We went to Medford Public Works Director Cory Crebbin, who said, We are anxious to open the new street and are working on it.

He said Juanipero Road and Golf View Drive need to be striped. He said that folks who live there asked for on-street parking, so it was back to the drawing board, literally, for striping planners.

Next, they have to hire a contractor to stripe this time of year because the city crews only use water-soluble paint, he said.
