Burglary '

Residents in the 2300 block of Sterling Creek Road, Jacksonville, reported a burglary at 11:59 a.m. Sunday. Doors of the residence were open and items valued at about &

36;4,000 were missing. Jackson County Sheriff's deputies were investigating the incident.

Medford police are searching for a black Ford F150 pickup truck with extensive front-end damage that may have slammed into a local Goodwill building Sunday morning.

Police suspect the truck, which witnesses said might have gold trim and a tool box in back, rammed into the shop at 11 W. Jackson St. at 9:36 a.m.

Police Sgt. Bob Sergi said the vehicle apparently drove off the road and struck the building, causing significant damage. No specific estimates were available.

A witness saw the truck drive away fast from the scene, police said.

The truck left behind part of a plastic bug guard and a front-end tow hook.

Anyone who has information about this incident can call Officer Hall at the Medford Police Department, 774-2544, Ext. 2816.
