Two Grants Pass residents were listed in stable condition at Rogue Valley Medical Center Sunday evening after suffering injuries Saturday night during a motorcycle accident in Central Point, sheriff's deputies reported.

Passenger Vicki Wilson Kelly, 42, was recovering from serious head injuries Sunday, said Sheriff's Captain Joe Puckett.

The operator, Donald Anthony Burbarsuglia, 43, had a possible punctured lung and shoulder injury, he said.

The sheriff's department is considering filing charges against the operator, said Puckett.

They did have alcohol and he admitted to drinking alcohol, he said.

The accident occurred while the 2000 Harley Davidson Road King was traveling north on Blackwell Road. Over-correcting to avoid hitting an embankment, the operator lost control and the bike slid onto its side, said Puckett.

He said it was heavily damaged.
