' Kristina Louise Pinner, 25, of the 6600 block of Table Rock Road, Central Point. Medford police arrested Pinner Tuesday on charges of first-degree forgery, first-degree possession of a forged instrument, negotiating a bad check, attempted first-degree theft and parole violation. She was lodged in jail without bail.

' Mark Steven Lopez, 35, no address listed. Medford police arrested Lopez on two counts of first-degree forgery, second-degree possession of a forged instrument, attempted second-degree theft and probation violation. He was lodged in jail, where he remained Tuesday night without bail.

' Marcos Uribe, 29, of Mission Hills. Uribe appeared in Jackson County Circuit Court Tuesday on an indictment charging him with possession, manufacturing and delivery of amphetamines and being a felon in possession of a weapon. He was booked into jail and released.

' Nicholaus Allen Knickerbocker, 20, of the 500 block of South Second Street, Talent. Knickerbocker appeared in Circuit Court Tuesday on an indictment charging him with two counts of possession of amphetamines. He was booked into jail and released.

Fire calls

Structure fire

' 100 block of Flounce Rock Drive, Prospect. Jackson County Fire District No. 4 and Prospect Fire Department and the Oregon Department of Forestry responded to a fire in a shop building after a neighbor spotted smoke coming from the building as he headed to work, District 4 Chief Bob Miller said. The building housed Pro Design Inc., a concrete finishing business. Miller estimated the damage at about &

36;50,000. A state fire marshal will investigate.

Grass fires

' North River Road, Rogue River. Rogue River Rural Fire District got calls reporting grass fires in the 3500 block and the 3300 block of North River Road at 5:36 p.m. Oregon Department of Forestry and Evans Valley Fire Department rushed to help, and firefighters from the three agencies extinguished the blazes. The fire in the 3500 block burned about half an acre and the fire in the 3300 block burned about a tenth of an acre.
