Pedestrian struck

' 2000 block of Highway 99, Ashland. Oregon State Police are investigating an accident in which an Ashland man was struck and seriously injured while trying to cross Highway 99 about 200 feet south of its intersection with Valley View Road. The accident at about 6:10 p.m. Tuesday closed the highway's southbound lanes for nearly an hour, police said. Michael Deny, 49, of Ashland, was taken to Providence Medford Medical Center for surgery to treat head and other injuries after he was hit by a 1991 Honda driven by Kimberly Hopper, 27, of Ashland, police said.

Felony arrests


' Cynthia Lynn Jordan, a.k.a. Shopp, 33, of the 2700 block of Orchard Home Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Shopp late Monday on charges of identity theft, mail theft, second-degree theft, second-degree forgery and second-degree possession of a forged instrument, as well as probation violation. She was lodged in Jackson County Jail, where she remained Tuesday night on &

36;105,000 bail.


' William Brian Rogers, 21, no address listed. Ashland police arrested Rogers early Tuesday on charges of possession of hashish and possession of marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school. He was lodged in jail, then released Tuesday on his own recognizance.


' Richard Warren Warhurst Jr., no address listed. Oregon State Police arrested Warhurst Tuesday on a charge of possession of amphetamines and a probation violation warrant. He was lodged in jail, where he remained Tuesday without bail.


' Robert J. Kolve, 45, no address listed. Kolve was arrested Tuesday on charges of felony fourth-degree assault and harassment. He was lodged in jail, where he remained Tuesday night on &

' Chad Everett Moore, 24, no address listed, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of aggravated first-degree theft. He was lodged in jail, where he remained Tuesday night on &

' Dale Allen Hoover, 48, of the 500 block of Pearl Street, Medford. Hoover appeared in Jackson County Circuit Court Tuesday on an indictment charging him with possession of amphetamines, driving under the influence of intoxicants and attempting to elude police in a vehicle. He was booked into jail and released.


' Tiffany Rose Isaman, 18, of the 1400 block of Oregon Street, Ashland. Isaman appeared in Circuit Court Tuesday on charges of possession, manufacture and delivery of marijuana and a hallucinogenic; possession of cocaine and driving under the influence of intoxicants. She was booked into jail and released.
