Eluding

' Joshua William Taylor, 20, of the 700 block of King Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Taylor late Sunday on charges of attempting to elude police in a vehicle and on foot. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he remained Monday night in lieu of &

Vehicle theft

' Ted Bishop Jensen, 21, of the 600 block of Catherine Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Jensen early Monday on charges of unauthorized use of a vehicle, attempting to elude police in a vehicle and on foot and resisting arrest. He also was wanted on warrants stemming from his failure to appear in Jackson County Circuit Court on charges of unauthorized use of a vehicle and first-degree criminal mischief. He was lodged in jail, where he remained Monday night in lieu of &

Eluding

' Martin Antonio Ramirez, 20, of the 400 block of Arnos Street, Talent. Medford police arrested Ramirez Monday on charges of attempting to elude police in a vehicle, possession of amphetamine and violating parole conditions of a drug conviction. He was jailed without bail.

Drugs

' Joseph Duke Layman, 18, of 6300 Ventura Lane, Central Point. Medford police arrested Layman Monday on a charge of possession of amphetamine. He was also wanted on warrants stemming from his failure to pay traffic fines. He was jailed and released on his own recognizance.

Kidnapping

' Ronny Ray Graham, 37, of the first block of Western Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Graham Monday on charges of second-degree kidnapping, fourth-degree assault, harassment, menacing and reckless endangering. He was lodged in jail, where he remained Monday night in lieu of &

Theft

' Jane Harriet Householder, 37, of the 600 block of North Grape Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Householder Monday on a charge of first-degree theft. She was jailed and released on her own recognizance.

' Donald Lewis Corbett, 44, no permanent address. Medford police arrested Corbett Monday on charges of first-degree theft and conspiracy to commit first-degree theft. He was jailed and released on his own recognizance.

' Johnny Dean Marez, 41, of the 70000 block of Rogue River Highway, Rogue River. Medford police arrested Marez Monday on charges of first-degree theft and conspiracy to commit first-degree theft. He was jailed and released on his own recognizance.

Miscellaneous

Jail releases

' A total of 68 inmates were released last week from the Jackson County Jail to meet its court-ordered cap of 216 inmates. Of those, 17 were released before their scheduled court appearances, six were granted an early release from a sentence and 45 were released for other reasons.
