Criminal mischief

' Jimmy Dean Grochowski, 20, of the 700 block of Park Street, Ashland. Grochowski made his initial appearance Monday in Jackson County Circuit Court on charge of first-degree criminal mischief and disorderly conduct. He was processed Monday at the Jackson County Jail and released on his own recognizance.

Assault '

Robert George Dean, 43, no address available. Jackson County sheriff's deputies on Monday arrested Dean on charges of felony fourth-degree assault and harassment. He was lodged Monday in the Jackson County Jail, where he was held in lieu of &

36;8,000 bail.


' Heather Marie Petri, 20, of the 2000 block of Riley Road, Eagle Point. Medford police on Monday arrested Petri on a fugitive warrant involving a drug case in California, as well as failing to appear in a felony drug charge in Oregon. She was lodged in the Jackson County Jail without bail.


Jail releases

' A total of 48 inmates were released last week from the Jackson County Jail to meet its court-ordered cap of 255 inmates. Of those, 28 were released before their scheduled court appearances, three were granted an early release from a sentence and 17 were released for various reasons.
