Dump truck crash

' Mile 10, West Fork of Evans Creek Road. Wednesday morning Jackson County sheriff's deputies went to a report of a dump truck that had rolled over an embankment in a remote northwest corner of the county trapping the injured driver inside. The driver was freed and taken to a hospital. No additional details were available Wednesday night.

Court decision

' Ross Edward Davis, 44, of the 4300 block of Avenue A, White City. Davis was acquitted Wednesday in Jackson County Circuit Court of possession of amphetamines. He was charged in December 2003.

Correction

' Thea Alicia Larson, 26, of the 400 block of Howard Street, Medford. Larson appeared Jackson County Circuit Court Monday on an indictment charging first-degree theft. She was booked into jail and released. During booking, clerks found warrants charging her with failure to appear on two traffic infractions and added those charges. The booking was listed incorrectly in Tuesday's edition of the Mail Tribune.
