Early sales nearly fill two shows at Brittfest

With tickets for Britt Festivals' 2004 season set to go on sale to the general public at 8:30 a.m. Monday, no concert is sold out, although only lawn seating is available for many.

Sales are slightly behind 2003, Britt's Ron McUne said Friday afternoon, speaking of early sales open only to members. But we have three fewer shows than last year.

The hottest demand so far has been for tickets to Huey Lewis on June 20 and Kenny Loggins July 17, both of which are nearly sold out.

Among the shows for which no reserved seats remain ' lawn seating is available ' are Michael Bolton June 17, Burt Bacharach July — and Kenny G June 27.

On the other hand, McUne says seating remains wide open for such artists as Steve Earle, Lucinda Williams and Herbie Hancock.

Tickets can be purchased at the box office at 216 W. Main St., Medford, ordered by phone at 773-6077 or at on the Web.
