Madeline Lafern Reader, 33, of the 5200 block of Rainbow Drive, Central Point. A Medford police officer Thursday arrested Reader on two counts of second-degree child neglect, manufacturing amphetamines, delivering amphetamines, possession of amphetamines and possession of hallucinogens. She was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where she remained Thursday night on &

36;43,000 bail.

Charlie Hamilton Charlton Jr., 39, of the 3200 block of South Pacific Highway, Medford. A Medford police officer Thursday arrested Charlton on charges of possession of amphetamines and driving with a suspended license. He was lodged in jail, where he remained Thursday night on &

Theft, forgery '

Sheena Ann Cortez, 19, of the 400 block of North Grape Street, Medford. A Jackson County sheriff's deputy Thursday arrested Cortez on four counts of identity theft, four counts of second-degree forgery, two counts of second-degree theft and failure to appear in court. She was lodged in jail then released because of overcrowding.

Savanah Rane Jackson, 19, of the 400 block of Clay Street, Ashland. A Medford police officer Thursday arrested Jackson on charges of possession of amphetamines and two warrants charging her with failure to appear in court. She was lodged in jail then released because of overcrowding.

Stephen Wayne Murphy, 44, no known address. Murphy made his initial appearance Thursday in Jackson County Circuit Court on two counts of manufacturing amphetamines, two counts of possession of amphetamines and possession of designer drugs. He was booked into jail then released on his own recognizance.

Dale Ray Smith, 42, of the 400 block of South Fifth Street, Jacksonville. Smith made his initial appearance Thursday in Circuit Court on a charge of possession of amphetamines. He was booked into jail then released on his own recognizance.
