Burglary '

Emily Denise Parker, 45, of the 600 block of Park Street, Ashland. Cindy Lynn Johnson-Yepp, 36, of the 200 block of East Barnett Road, Medford. Johnson-Yepp appeared Wednesday in Jackson County Circuit Court on an indictment charging her with possession of amphetamines. She was booked into jail then released on her own recognizance.

Cara Kay Kelley, 41, of the 500 block of Arbor Drive, Medford. A sheriff's deputy Wednesday arrested Kelley on a charge of identity theft. She was lodged in jail, where she remained late Wednesday on &

Fire call

Structure fire '

6300 block of Crater Lake Avenue, Central Point. Three storage sheds were damaged Wednesday when a fire broke out inside one of them just before 7 p.m. Flames spread to an adjacent grassy area, and also damaged a car and a U-Haul trailer, Jackson County Fire District No. — Capt. Rich Torres said. The cause of the fire was under investigation late Wednesday. No damage estimate was available.

Emergency foster care '

The Jackson County Child Welfare Department of the Department of Human Services reports that 33 children were placed in foster care in June, with nine of those placed with relatives. In July, 21 children were placed in foster care, with five of those placed with relatives.
