Erik J. Johnson, 18, of the 1100 block of Char Way and Juvenal Adan Vega, 18, of the 1700 block of Louise Avenue, were spotted by police at 1:13 a.m. near the intersection of South Columbus and Stewart avenues, using spray paint to vandalize a wall, Moran said.
Police believe the pair spent much of the night spraying graffiti on property located between the intersection of Eighth and Lincoln streets and the area where they were caught, Moran said.
Johnson and Vega will appear in Medford Municipal Court on the charges. They face court fines and may be forced to repay the city and private-property owners for damages, Moran said.
