Dutch Bros. Coffee has hired Mike Dennis as project manager and Dan Buck as creative director.
Buck will oversee the look and feel of all marketing campaigns, coordinating development of informational materials, including digital platforms.
Previously, Buck was director of recruitment at Rogue Community College. Before that, he was a senior director, writer and producer with KDRV-TV in Medford. He earned a bachelor's degree in English from Southern Oregon University, graduating summa cum laude. He received his master's degree in business administration with a marketing emphasis from Marylhurst University, where he was a member of the Sigma Beta Delta Business Honor Society.
Dennis is in charge of communication between franchisees, headquarters, property owners and the cities in which Dutch Bros. drive-throughs are located.
Before joining Dutch Bros., Dennis was part of a five-year journeyman electrician program in Southern California. He moved back to his native Oregon in 1996 and acquired his journeyman electrician license. Dennis began working with the Oregon Department of Transportation in 2001 as an electrician, overseeing all electrical devices related to state highways in Southern Oregon.

David Sailer has joined RiskPoint Insurance Advisors as a principal and will operate out of the Bend-based firm's Medford office. Sailer has operated his own agency in Grants Pass in the past and more recently worked with Northwest Insurance Agency in Grants Pass.

Terry Hopkins, vice president of Southern Oregon Elmer's, has received the "Coach of the Year" for Elmer's Restaurants in California, Idaho, Oregon and Washington. This award is based on sales, employee retention and community involvement, along with operation and financial standards.
Southern Oregon franchise holders Dave and Doneta Thomason received the "Community Spirit Award" for their efforts at Taprock Event Center in Grants Pass. Involvement with Rogue Winterfest, the Boys & Girls Club of the Rogue Valley, Wildlife Images Rehabilitation and Education Center, SOASTC, Boatnik, the Pregnancy Care Center and Sparrow Clubs led to the award.

U.S. Bank has promoted five managers, four in Medford and one in Ashland. Craig Pisors is now a vice president and branch manager for retail banking in Ashland. He graduated from Cal State-Northridge in 1997. Timothy Clayton, Bill Pritchett and Melanie Rossetta are now vice presidents and relationship managers for Southern Oregon business banking in Medford. Clayton is a 1995 Southern Oregon University graduate. Pritchett is a 1998 graduate of SOU. Rossetta is a 1989 graduate of the University of Washington. Sharon Schmelzer is an assistant vice president and relationship manager for Southern Oregon business banking in Medford. She is a graduate of Phoenix High School.
