Tourism Marketing Symposium set for March 10
The 18th annual Tourism Marketing Symposium is scheduled March 10 at Seven Feathers Hotel Resort in Canyonville.
The theme is "Row or Get Rowed Over," underscoring the need to pull together, said Travel Southern Oregon CEO Carolyn Hill.
"We're all in this together and when we pull in the same direction, there's nothing we can't do," Hill said.
Among the speakers: Todd Davidson, CEO at Travel Oregon; Andy Hayes of Plum Deluxe, who provides content marketing for luxury and lifestyle brands; Michelle McCue of McCue Communications/PR; Bill Perry, lobbyist for Oregon Restaurant and Lodging Association; and Greg Eckhart, Travel Oregon's Asia sales manager.
There will be panel discussions on international tourism development and readiness, wines of Southern Oregon, itinerary building ideas, and digital marketing concepts.
The event runs 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Registration for the event, hosted by Southern Oregon Visitors Association/Travel Southern Oregon, is $94, including meals, materials, media trade show and breakout sessions.
