ACCESS receives $50,000 donation from Wells Fargo
Wells Fargo has donated $50,000 to ACCESS for its local food project in cooperation with Thrive and Rogue Farm Corps. The organizations are providing additional avenues of sale for locally produced foods and will train the next generation of farmers to expand the local food economy.
The donation was one of eight by Wells Fargo, totaling $450,000.
Habitat for Humanity Portland/Metro East received $100,000. Human Solutions in Portland received $100,000 for the Rockwood and East Multnomah County area. Central City Concern of Portland received $50,000. Hispanic Metropolitan Chamber in Portland received $50,000.
Easter Seals of Oregon in Portland received $50,000 to support its program in Salem. Neighborlmpact in Central Oregon received $25,000. St. Vincent de Paul in Eugene received $25,000.
