Southern Oregon's inn and hotel keepers continued to see improvement in November.
The latest data compiled by Smith Travel Research of Shelbyville, Tenn., showed the region accounted for about 12 percent of the state's room demand in November and 9.3 percent of the room revenue. In both cases the region showed solid gains, growing demand by 7.1 percent and improving revenue 11.9 percent to $9.35 million.
Room rates grew 4.5 percent over the previous November to $75.82, while occupancy was up 6.8 percent to 50.4 percent.
