Ashland optometry shop among top dozen
Artisan Eyeworks of Ashland has been named one of the top 12 optical retailers in North America by trade publication Invision Magazine and will be featured in the January 2017 edition of the magazine, the optometry office has announced.
Invision Magazine is the leading publication of the independent optical industry. According to the editors, "the America's Finest Optical Retailers Contest highlights the best examples of independent eyecare practices and retailers. Every year we feel privileged to bring our readers the best of the best in our industry."
The offices are judged by a panel of optical retail experts on six categories: story, exterior appearance, interior appearance, advertising and marketing, store website and overall individuality.
Artisan Eyeworks is owned by doctors Kimberly and Michael Hoyt, who say the practice has been built around three pillars: forming genuine patient connections, incorporating the latest technology and representing compelling and independent eyewear lines.
The boutique office is at 215 Fourth St. in the Railroad District , previously site of Illahe Gallery.
