Interior Office Concepts moving into Lithia building

Interior Office Concepts is moving to the Lithia Motors headquarters building in downtown Medford, filling the final vacancy.

The 18-year-old commercial furniture and design firm led by second-generation president Justin Steffens has operated at 2009 Commerce Drive for the past decade.

Interior Office Concepts will fill a 2,800-square-foot area facing The Commons between the main Lithia entrance and Starbucks at the 150 N. Bartlett St. building. The store joins Lithia Support Services, Southern Cascades Finance, Anytime Fitness and Starbucks.

Lithia, the nation's fifth-biggest auto retailer, is one of IOC’s largest customers, said Mark DeBoer, Lithia's vice president of development. “It’s a great fit and makes sense to have them close by and readily available."

Interior Office Concepts plans to occupy its new quarters this winter. The firm has 11 employees and sells to clients in a dozen Western states. Steffens said the new space will be a working showroom for the 150 manufacturers the company represents. The company, which first opened for business on Crater Lake Avenue, is primarily project-based, working with both small and large organizations.
