Vince Vidrine has been named winemaker at Irvine & Roberts Vineyards outside Ashland. Vidrine was an associate winemaker at Domaine Serene Winery near Dayton in the northern Willamette Valley. Vidrine was previously assistant winemaker for Brittan Vineyards in McMinnville. He earned an enology and viticulture degree from Oregon State University. He also has experience with Domaine Henri Naudin-Ferrand in Burgundy, Dry River Vineyards in New Zealand and Staglin Family Vineyard in Napa, California. Vidrine will move to Ashland in June to assist in finishing the new winery before harvest.
Bill Ertel and Susie Thorne have joined the staff at RE/MAX Integrity in Grants Pass. Ertel has 18 years of real estate sales experience and was principal broker for Pine-Rok Realty in Williams for 12 years. Miriam Choate has joined Rogue Community Health’s medical practice at 8385 Division Road, in White City. She graduated from Oregon Health Sciences University School of Medicine in 2009 and is American Board of Family Medicine certified. She earned a Bachelor of Science in biology from Emory University in Atlanta, followed by an internship and residency at Fort Collins Family Medicine in Colorado. Choate is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Oregon Academy of Family Physicians. She offers outpatient family medicine, including obstetrics, prenatal and peripartum care as well as acute, chronic and preventive care for all age groups. She is taking appointments at 541-826-5853.
David F. Cuttrell has joined Brown & Brown Northwest Insurance in Medford as a benefits account executive. Cuttrell has more than 17 years of experience in the field, and is a 1995 University of Oregon graduate. He was previously with the Oregon Insurance Exchange, Breeze Financial Group and Washington Mutual.
Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Southern Oregon has added financial counselor Wayne Thompson to its staff. Thompson has been in the financial services industry for more than 37 years and has been in Medford since 1981, concluding as a commercial loan officer with PremierWest Bank in 2013. He will be counseling individuals and couples with financial questions and teaching classes in financial literacy. Thompson earned a bachelor’s from Oregon State University.
