Seminar slated for travel-related businesses
If you are curious how your business fits in with Oregon's $11.3 billion travel industry, the state's tourism agency is ready to answer your questions.
Travel Oregon 101 will run from 1 to 4 p.m., Monday, Sept. 18, in the Crater Lake Ballroom at the Inn at The Commons.
The travel industry accounts for 109,000 jobs in Oregon and indirectly creates another 56,900 jobs.
The seminar is designed for visitor-related businesses, organizations and communities.
Travel Southern Oregon Executive Director Brad Niva said working with the state agency 12 years ago helped turn his river rafting business into a regional player.
