Baker earns All-American accolade
Southern Oregon junior sprinter Antwun Baker earned All-American honors Friday at the NAIA Track and Field Championships in Edwardsville, Ill., finishing sixth in the 100 meters with a time of 10.77 seconds.
Baker advanced to the finals by finishing fourth in his semifinal heat with a personal best time of 10.765. That time marks the third-fastest 100 in school history.
Baker became the first All-American for the Raiders in 2009, and senior Cameron Kreuz will look to join him today in the 1,500 finals.
Alex Waroff finished 13th in the final day of the decathlon. Waroff finished with 5,402 points, even though he no-heighted in the pole vault.
