Mustangs' Bradshaw adds to hot streak

Chris Bradshaw wrapped up the spring season for North Medford High with a 17-game hitting streak and has kept up that torrid pace thus far this summer for the American Legion AAA Medford Mustangs.

Bradshaw was back at it Wednesday night against the Grants Pass Nuggets, belting a two-run double to highlight a four-run sixth inning in the Mustangs' 6-1 triumph at Harry & David Field.

Isaac Rolie had an RBI single and Medford scored on an error prior to Bradshaw's bases-loaded effort.

Bradshaw has hit safely in all seven games thus far for the Mustangs (6-1), going 15-for-30 with 15 RBIs. Seven of his 15 hits have been for extra bases, and he was 2-for-4 with one run and two RBIs on Wednesday.

Jordan Decker was 2-for-2 and pitched the first four innings for the Nuggets. The Phoenix High standout, who normally would fall into Medford's zone of eligible players, was picked up by the Grants Pass team after receiving a player release by the deep Mustangs.

Ryan Miller was 2-for-4 and scored the Nuggets' lone run in the third inning.
