Brenda Stinnett rolled her second career 300 game on Thursday in the Ball & Chain League at Roxy Ann Lanes.


Mike Kringelbach bowled a 300 game on the opening night of the Tuesday Nighters Men's League at Lava Lanes on Sept. 14.


Norm Veronneau of Medford made his third career hole-in-one Friday at Broken Top Golf Club in Bend.

Veronneau used a 7-iron on the 165-yard fifth hole. His playing partners were Todd Anderson, Terry Driskill and Kevin Klabunde.


Zach Knott made his first hole-in-one on the fourth hole at Bear Creek Golf Course on Sept. 14.

Knott used a pitching wedge. Playing partners Michael Ashley and Travis Crump witnessed the shot.

Track & Field

Dan Bulkley of Phoenix was named Oregon Male Master Track and Field Athlete of the Year for the second time at the U.S. Track & Field Association meeting at the Tiger Woods Building at the Nike Center in Beaverton.

Bulkley competes in the 100-, 200-, 400- and 800-meter dashes and in various field events.

Next, Bulkley will compete in badminton and pickleball in the 90-94 age division at the Huntsman World Senior Games in October.
