Gutches closes in on national record
WHITE CITY — Kelly Gutches got his 112th win in the dwarf cars A main at the Southern Oregon Speedway on Saturday
Gutches is closing in on the national record of 115.
In the super 4's, Steve Thompson led from start to finish to post his first main win of the season. Thompson outlasted the hard-charging Parker Jones and Belinda Duste.
Dave Everson sprinted out to the lead in lap six to capture the pro stocks main event.
Mark Wauge, the modified class points leader, grabbed that lead early and never trailed to take the checkered flag. Wauge also won the trophy dash and heat one.
