Rogue River hoops standout Ehrhardt signs with Corban

Rogue River basketball player Alli Ehrhardt will sign a letter of intent at 2:50 p.m. Friday at the school's gymnasium to play at Corban University in Salem.

Ehrhardt is Rogue River's all-time leading scorer. Last season, the junior averaged 17 points and six rebounds per game.

The Corban Warriors are members of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics' Cascade Collegiate Conference.

Corban was 19-11 overall and 13-5 in conference play last winter.

The Chieftains were 14-13 overall and 3-5 in the Southern Cascade Hybrid last year.

Phoenix resident Dan Bulkley earned several medals at the 25th annual Huntsman World Senior Games in St. George, Utah, earlier this month.

He earned 10 medals in three events during the competition. Competing in track and field in the age 90-94 division, Bulkley captured a gold medal in the 800-meter race, silvers in the 50, 200, 400 and triple jump and bronze in the 100.

In tennis, he secured gold in the 90-94 singles bracket, a gold with Joyce Jones in 85-89 mixed doubles and silver with Fred Bruner in 80-85 men's doubles.

Tom Cook rolled a 300 game in the Friday Night Mixed League at Roxy Ann Lanes recently.

Cook also recorded scores of 259 and 258 for a combined series of 817.
