The Southern Oregon Rollergirls will host their first Spring Roll on Saturday from 11 a.m to 3 p.m. at the Medford Armory.

There will be a derby exhibition, music, food, a silent auction and a bounce house. The event is free.

Proceeds from the auction will go to SORG's training facilities, travel and uniforms.

ASHLAND — The Southern Oregon athletic department will host its first Casino Night at 7 p.m. on May 17 at the Lithia Dodge Superstore in Medford.

Money raised by the event will go to the Raider Club, which raises funds for athletics and scholarships.

Tickets cost $40 per person and include entry, beer and wine, appetizers and 10 raffle tickets.

Guests purchase "funny money" to play casino games such as blackjack, craps, roulette and Texas hold 'em poker. The funny money will be turned in for raffle tickets at the end of the night. Among the raffle items are vacations to Puerto Vallarta and the Oregon Coast, artwork, televisions and rounds of golf.
