Rogues pull off comeback

MARYSVILLE, Calif. — The Medford Rogues used a four-run eighth inning to beat the Marysville Gold Sox, 6-5, during Great West League action on Tuesday.

His team trailing 4-2 in the eighth, Connor Lowrie pounded a three-run double that brought home Jayden Hanna, Eric Yang and Alex Isola.

Josh Berman added an RBI single for Medford (14-6).

Peyton Fuller earned the win and Taylor Frost the save against the Gold Sox (6-13).

YAKIMA PEPSI 14, MEDFORD MUSTANGS 3, 5 inn.: At Reno, Nev., Tate Cowden was 2-for-3 with two doubles and an RBI for the Medford Mustangs at the Josh Anderson Memorial Tournament.

The Mustangs (10-4) allowed 11 walks against Yakima, which led 9-0 before Medford got on the scoreboard in the third inning.
