Jackson County goes 10 days without a new COVID-19 case
On Monday, Jackson County had gone another day without any new confirmed cases of COVID-19, Jackson County Public Health reported.
The county remained at 49 cases, with its last confirmed case reported April 24, public health officials said. Of that amount, 38 are considered recovered from the disease. Updated recovery numbers should be available Wednesday, May 6.
The Oregon Health Authority reported 65 more cases of the illness statewide, with 14 additional presumptive cases. The state’s total has risen to 2,579 cases. The state had also seen two consecutive days of no new deaths, staying at 109 total cases, the OHA reported. None of those cases have been in Jackson County.
