Jackson County coronavirus cases drop back down to 49

Oregon reported six more deaths and 70 new cases of COVID-19 Thursday, raising the death toll to 121, with 2,957 cases.

The Oregon Health Authority also reported 31 new presumptive cases.

Jackson County Public Health reported no new cases Thursday, and it revised its running total downward after a previously reported patient turned out to have been a resident of another state. The county remains at 49, where it has been since April 24.

If a person is found to have COVID-19 while traveling, that case is counted where they live, public health officials said.
