Jackson County goes 2 weeks without a new COVID-19 case
It has been two weeks since Jackson County’s last confirmed case of COVID-19, according to a Friday report from Jackson County Health and Human Services.
Jackson County has seen 49 COVID-19 cases, and the last one was reported April 24. The county has had just one new case in the past month. Forty of the 49 local patients have recovered.
Oregon reported three more deaths and 75 new confirmed cases Friday, along with five presumptive cases of COVID-19.
Oregon has so far recorded 124 deaths, 3,032 confirmed cases, 36 presumptive cases, and 659 people have been hospitalized, according to Oregon Health Authority data.
OHA reported that 159 Oregonians are currently hospitalized, 42 are in intensive care and 18 are on ventilators.
