No new COVID-19 cases in Jackson County

Jackson County Public Health reported no new cases of COVID-19 on Monday as the number of active cases here remained at 14.

The zero, however, comes with a caveat — Monday marked the first day that Jackson County Public Health began reporting the number of new coronavirus cases using a cutoff time of 12:01 a.m. to align with the Oregon Health Authority’s new reporting period.

There are 60 reported cases of COVID-19 in Jackson County, with 46 considered recovered. Jackson County has ran 6,109 tests.

Statewide, the Oregon Health Authority reported 19 new confirmed cases of coronavirus Monday and four new presumptive cases, bringing the state total to 3,949. The state’s death toll from COVID-19 is unchanged from Sunday at 148.
