Jackson County reports 17 COVID-19 cases
Jackson County Public Health reported 17 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday, bringing the county total to 921 cases with 70 hospitalizations and three deaths.
Most of those infected are in the 20-29 age range with 177. Four people in that age category have been hospitalized, according to county public health data updated Tuesday.
People ages 50-59 have suffered the most hospitalizations at 18. That age group has had 109 reported cases.
The three deaths have been among people 60 and older.
Statewide, the Oregon Health Authority reported 169 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday, plus four more deaths.
The people who died ranged in age from 72 to 100 and lived in Lane and Marion counties.
The total number of cases in Oregon stands at 28,355 with 486 deaths, according to OHA.
