Jackson County reports 13 new COVID-19 cases
Jackson County Public Health reported 13 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday.
The new cases increase the local total to 1,160. The new number includes a previously reported case that was found to be a duplicate and removed from the total, according to a news release. Of the total, 177 patients are still considered infectious, public health officials reported.
There have been 86 total hospitalizations and five deaths from the illness in Jackson County, according to public health data.
The Oregon Health Authority reported 181 new COVID-19 cases Monday, and no new deaths. The state total rose to 32,994, while the death toll remained at 547.
