Oregon announces 22 more COVID-19-related deaths
Oregon reported 22 more deaths Tuesday from COVID-19, raising the state’s death toll from the illness to 2,346.
The Oregon Health Authority reported 267 new cases of the illness Monday, including 18 new cases in Jackson County and 13 in Josephine County.
The latest cases raised Oregon’s total to 160,050, including 8,820 in Jackson County, and 2,539 in Josephine County.
On Tuesday, 119 Oregonians were hospitalized with COVID-19, one more than Monday, including 25 people in intensive care.
Nineteen people were hospitalized in Jackson and Josephine counties Tuesday, with one patient in ICU.
