Talent vaccine clinic set for May 8
A Moderna vaccine clinic for Hispanic community members 18 and older will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 8, in the Talent Elementary School gym, 307 Wagner Creek Road. Registration is required.
To register, see roguecommunityhealth.org/vacuna, call 541-773-3863 or visit the Mutual Aid Center, located at the Shops at Exit 24. SO Health-E will have bilingual staff there from noon to 6 p.m. Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays leading up to the event.
“Our goal is to provide vaccine access in a place that is familiar and comfortable for our students’ families, and the entire community in Phoenix and Talent,” said Jake Patoski, Phoenix-Talent Schools communications specialist.
The vaccine is free, but participants who have insurance must bring their insurance card and all participants must provide a form of identification. Once registered, participants will receive a text message or a call with their appointment time, based on their selected preference.
Participants can park at Talent Elementary School, Talent Middle School or use nearby street parking.
