State reports four new COVID-19 deaths on Sunday
Jackson County reported seven new confirmed and presumptive positive cases of COVID-19 Sunday, bringing local totals to 11,102 cases with 141 fatalities to date.
The state reported 334 new confirmed and presumptive positive cases and four new fatalities, raising statewide totals to 198,689 cases with 2,622 deaths since the pandemic started. A total of 248 patients are hospitalized with the virus and 71 are intensive care.
The Oregon Health Authority reported 29,464 new doses of COVID-19 vaccines administered over the weekend. The state vaccine registry now consists of 1,726,292 fully vaccinated people and 2,164,594 people who have received one dose of a vaccine series.
